A partner of Rodriguez & Cavelier, Helena is an internationally recognized and highly experienced lawyer in industrial property, copyrights and IP licensing, having joined the Firm in 2002.

She advises top national and foreign companies in, among others, the protection of intellectual property rights, and recently, acted as lead counsel in the auditing of the trademark portfolio of two of the biggest Colombian conglomerates. Currently, she manages their trademarks both in Colombia and abroad.

Member of several national and international IP associations, from 2006 to 2008 she was the President of the Andean Chapter of the Licensing Executive Society and, is presently, a member of the Board of Directors of the Society.

She has a specialization in intellectual property, copyright and new technologies from Universidad Externado de Colombia and obtained her law degree from Universidad del Rosario.
